The book deals with 20 characters who may have no connection, except that all of them may be forgotten or unknown. Among them is Beh Afarid bin Ferdinan, who led a religious and political movement against the Abbasid Caliphate in Persia, based on a mixture of Islamic and Zoroastrian ideas. And the Turkish traveler Evliya Celebi, who wrote imaginative and legendary narratives about the Ottoman Sultan Selim I to justify his invasion of Egypt. The book also deals with the Coptic Patriarchs "Abram the Syrian" and "John It was inspired by him, and he founded a religious sect called "Babism" in Iraq in the middle of the nineteenth century! The book does not ignore the Egyptian military leader, "Muhammad Harb Saleh," who in 1915 led the first armed revolution against the British in Egypt in Matrouh and the oases, and it could have changed many things had it not been defeated.
