The book deals with 20 characters who may have no connection, except that all of them may be forgotten or unknown. Among them is Beh Afarid bin Ferdinan, who led a religious and political movement against the Abbasid Caliphate in Persia, based on a mixture of Islamic and Zoroastrian ideas. And the Turkish traveler Evliya Celebi, who wrote imaginative and legendary narratives about the Ottoman Sultan Selim I to justify his invasion of Egypt. The book also deals with the Coptic Patriarchs "Abram the Syrian" and "John It was inspired by him, and he founded a religious sect called "Babism" in Iraq in the middle of the nineteenth century!
