My name is Mary McCarty Wallace. I was born at home in Tallapoosa County, Alabama in the country somewhere between Union and Reeltown. I was married to Walker Stillwell and we had three children, David, Vince and Shannon, who passed away in Nebraska three and a half years ago. I was briefly married to Randy Adair. In 1981 I married Col. James Wallace and lived in Virginia, Illinois, Georgia and Montgomery, AL while he was in the Air force. We not live in the small coastal town of Rockport, Texas where I belong to the Rockport Writer's Group. I write short stories and novels. Framing Aggie Falk is my first adult novel. I have just published another book on Smashwords, Sometimes Y for Yak. In a few months I will be publishing Dovecote, a novel about the sustaining powers of friendship among three woman who grew up together in Alabama under different circumstances.
