Overview

With their big mouths, these are the most gregarious garden pests ever! They are attracted to rose bushes, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and good conversation. These little slugs are sure to delight the amigurumi lover and softy knitter.

The body is knit in one piece in the round, and the lips are knit separarately. There is only 1 seam to sew in the entire pattern! Basic increases and decreases, as well as short rows, are used in the shaping. Photos, links, and stitch descriptions are included, and cheezombie is available for help via email.

The example is knit with worsted weight (10 ply) yarn on U.S. size 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles and is approximately 5 inches tall & 5 inches long. Size will change depending on choice of yarn and needle size.

About the Author

Cheezombie often finds herself bleary eyed and finger sore, but still knitting and watching slasher movies & cartoons, at 2 a.m. The byproducts of these late night sessions fuel others, whereby creating a cycle of sleeplessness and creativity and funny critters.

Knitting Manifesto:

1. Projects should take no longer than 3 hours from start to finish.
2. Projects should have few or no seams to sew up at the end.
3. Projects should be made in one piece, or the absolute minimum of pieces necessary.
4. Projects should use the simplest stitches to get the desired effects as possible.
5. And above all, they should be quick and fun enough to knit over and over until you have little herds of funny critters following you about the house.
