R.S. Dixit (b. 1941) is currently Head. Department of Geography, Isabella Thobum College, Lucknow. He did Sahitya Ratna (Geography) M.A. (Geography) and D.Phil. (Geography) and has been taking keen interest in research in the area of Geography of Marketing and Commercial Activities. He has authored a number of books, reports and research papers. He has participated in a number of national and international conferences and is member of a number of academic bodies.
