Gifts from Heaven

Overview

The Book of James says it best; "Every good and every perfect gift comes from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights." The gifts from above are always good and perfect, or in other words incorruptible. There are corrupted treasures on earth that many do strive for. The treasures on earth are those that moths and rust corrupt or thieves take and steal. Those are not the treasures we are going to write about here. The Lord said; "Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things (perfect gifts) will be added (given) unto you." We seek first the eternal things above and get earthly treasures too; seek only earthly treasures and those are the only things you will receive.

About the Author

My name is Patrick J. Vaughan and I was born and raised in Michigan. I currently live in Cadillac, Michigan. I was Born Again in 1998 and filled with the Holy Spirit shortly after that. I am a licensed Reverend and was appointed under the covering of the World Harvest Church Ministerial Alliance under the direction of Pastor Rod Parsley. My spiritual gifts are prophecy and teaching. I am sure this is where the gift of writing with wisdom comes from. All my books are divinely inspired by the Word and the Spirit of God. I started writing in 2008 and have not stopped since. I get done with one book and another is dropped in my heart. I stand in awe on the road I have traveled and what the Lord has built in this walk. Each book is a step of faith and has a lot of personal testimony and experience. My first was the Lord's Prayer and I have written fifteen since. I believe there is both a lot of teaching and a lot of revelation. These were really relevant at the time of writing but as I look back still have a lot of teaching and application even now.
