Vol. Ill - Linking Girl Education with Women Empowerment and Development discusses the relationship between education and empowerment of girls. How education can lead to women empowerment and ultimately may contribute to country’s development is the focus of this volume. This book series will reflect a detailed picture of girl education and enable stakeholders to seek positive measures to tackle issues in this regard.

Dr. Deepa Awasthi, Editor of this edited book series, is a freelance researcher. She is a Doctorate in Education and Post Graduate in Education, Sociology and Economics. She has qualified UGC - JRF in Education and Sociology as well and has equal command on both the subjects. She has participated and presented her research papers in more than 45 national and international seminars and conferences. She has also edited a book entitled “Eve Teasing: A Social Epidemic”. Her publication work also involves 05 chapters in edited books, 03 research papers in the form of conference and seminar proceedings and 17 research papers and articles in various journals of national and international repute.
