About the Author

Danita L. Maynor ‘s passion seed for poetry was cultivated during a middle school introduction to the genre where she quickly learned she had a gift. Until then, she had no true outlet for the strong feelings and emotions that music would often evoke and soon began allowing those feeling to flow onto paper. So it is no wonder that her first poetic compilation, Glimpse, is aptly subtitled as “a poetical journey … set to music. “ Maynor, a native Detroiter continues to reside in Michigan.
