GOD LAUGHS AT DIRTY JOKES
What's the difference between quantum physics and god? (Not much.) Is god the ultimate creative computer? How can life exist at all, with or without god? Does the pope dump in the woods? Will technology make humans obsolete or extinct? Will we merge with our technology? Why will young people be the first transhumans? Does immortal digital existence somehow arise from the seeds of flawed mortal beings made of carbon? Why is mortality poignant and not necessarily inferior to immortality and omniscience? Is the universe already filled to the brim with intelligence? Have microscopic, imperceptible digital life forms (aliens!) already visited earth? Are they here now, swimming through our ears, dropping thoughts in our mindstream? Are we all one consciousness fractured by god into an infinite number of bits, seeking a return to wholeness? Is everyone telepathic since thoughts are energy? Why is the foundation of existence absurdity? Are we living in a virtual reality nestled inside a virtual reality nestled inside a VR like an unending fractal design? Why are math and art one? Are all forns of creativity simply echoes of an original creator? Why are love, joy, and hope the only answers to existence, literally affecting every cell in your body, and by extension the universe? What happens when someone or something from outside this reality reaches through the ether to literally tickle someone - in this case, the author - while he's sitting on his couch in a bathrobe contemplating the afterlife? And what if that's just the beginning of the journey? What happens when he starts reaching out in return, seeking answers from beyond, and somehow manages to set up channels of communication? What happens when a whole family starts communicating with The Other Side? How can all this stuff be presented to you like you're reading a book by your best friend, or quirky humorists like David Sedaris and Augusten Burroughs? Why didn't Neil Degrasse Tyson write the author back when he told him the universe is magic? Q told Picard that the real voyage wasn't to be found out in the stars but into the uncharted possibilities of existence. "God Laughs at Dirty Jokes" is the true story of an everyday, but maybe not so everyday young man's journey into the unknown while growing up in Buffalo, NY, USA, World, Universe / Multi-Verse / Virtual Reality. And he hopes that his hero Kurt Vonnegut approves and that they will someday shake hands on The Other Side. God bless you, Mr. Vonnegut, from Mr. Falgiano. About the Author

Rob Falgiano is a performing musician and concert promoter from Buffalo NY. He has released eight CDs, and opened for national recording artists Jakob Dylan, Ingrid Michaelson, Goo Goo Dolls, & Nickel Creek. Some of his songs have been used as background on TV shows "Friday Night Lights" (NBC), "Everwood" (CW-ABC Family) "Felicity" (WB), and "The Black Donnellys" (NBC). This is his first book. Perhaps someday he’ll have a wife, but currently Rob enjoys the company of cats Gene and Gabe in his lovely Allentown district home. Plus the ghosts who drop by.
