God Wrote a Book

"God wrote a book." There is something very powerful in that simple statement. The book, of course, is the Bible, and because God is its author, it's the most important work ever written. Millions across the world agree with that, yet many believe it only conceptually, doubting that the words of the Bible are in fact the very words of God.

Pastor James MacDonald addresses today's disturbing trend away from taking God's Word seriously. He clarifies the misconceptions that surround the infallibility, reliability, and historicity of the Bible and explains why he believes it is the inspired Word of God, how it originated, what the Bible is good for, and its benefits to us. Written to believers and non-believers who have questions, this book on the Good Book has the answers.

About the Author

James MacDonald (DMin, Phoenix Seminary) has committed his life to the unapologetic proclamation of God's Word. He is the founding senior pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel, one of the fastest growing churches in the Chicago area, reaching over 13,000 lives each weekend. Through James's leadership and by God's grace, a church-planting ministry was formed in 2002, Harvest Bible Fellowship, which has planted more than 85 churches across North America and around the world. James also teaches on Walk in the Word, a daily radio broadcast committed to "igniting passion in the people of God through the proclamation of truth." James is the author of several books including Lord Change My Attitude, When Life is Hard, Always True, Vertical Church and most recently, Authentic. James and his wife, Kathy, have three adult children and make their home in suburban Chicago. You can find out more about James and his ministries at WalkintheWord.com.
