About the Author

Laurie Zurinsky is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the founder and director of Pressing On Ministries, a teaching organization with a mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, drama, and written curriculum. Since 1983, her work has appeared in school, church, and community venues throughout the Northwest. Serving as a Christian speaker and actor, Laurie considers her most giving role thus far has been at home—as caregiver to her father, who suffered from severe dementia.
