About the Author

Karen Crumley earned her B.S. in Microbiology at Texas Tech University. She worked for a short time at the research department at the Texas Tech Medical School and then taught high school science for 26 years before retiring. James Crumley earned his B.S. in Range and Wildlife Management from Texas Tech University. He worked for the USDA and ranched in Southwest Texas before retiring. They presently live on a ranch in Central Texas where James ranches and Karen still writes.
