Open your mouth! What do you see? Teeth as pretty as can be! But sometimes when you look behind Your pretty teeth, you just might find ... Creepy, sneaky germs that hide! Sticky, stinky germs inside!
Get rid of germs when you decide To use toothpaste that has fluoride! Pick a paste with yummy taste. Then pick a brush that's soft to touch. On the brush, apply the paste. Just a dab! So you don't waste. A little bit is all it takes!
Next, hold the brush up to your smile. A little care will go a mile! Then, brush your teeth up and down, Front to back, round and round! Brush your teeth around, around, Until those creeps cannot be found! Outside, inside, top and bottom; Check again! Make sure you got them! And even though you are so young, Don't forget to brush your tongue. It's important to brush there, 'Cause stinky germs are everywhere! Make sure to brush three times a day, After meals, so your teeth will stay Happy! Healthy! As can be!
Germs are tough! They want to stay! Make sure you floss one time each day. Dental floss is the best way To get those sticky germs away! One piece of floss is all you need, One piece of floss, one foot in length. Now you'll need both of your hands To grab the floss on both ends. Find the finger in the middle, Two away from thumb and little. Around that finger in the middle, Wrap the floss just a little. Make sure you learn to do it right! Between your fingers, hold it tight. Next, place the floss between two teeth, And push it through with gentle sweeps. Just gently slide floss forth and back, Then up and down to clear the plaque.
There's lots of food that we should limit, Because of all the bad stuff in it! Chocolate, ice cream, coffee cake, And other sweets you like to make, Cookies, donuts, pralines, pies, And other things that tempt our eyes. Beware the junk you like to munch, Including sodas, juice and punch!
