About the Author

Dr. Izabella Wentz is one of the pioneering experts in lifestyle interventions for treating Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. She was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis in 2009. Trained as a pharmacist, Dr. Wentz was surprised at the lack of knowledge about lifestyle interventions for Hashimoto’s and autoimmune conditions, so decided to take on lifestyle interventions as a personal mission in an effort to help herself and others with the same condition. She self-published her first book, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis: Finding and Treating the Root Cause in 2013. She has since launched a thriving online community of more than 200K “Root Cause Rebels,” empowering those diagnosed with Hashimoto’s or thinking that they may have Hashimoto’s to take charge of their health and find solutions that work for them. As soon as this book was released I went out and purchased it! Upon opening the book it was breathtaking - it looked fresh and clean. Then while reading the recipes, they too were fresh and clean! I've already created my menu to cook from this book all week - and I made the SAM salad already - DELISH! I also love how at the beginning of the book, it's a mini course all about eating for health (and those with autoimmune disease). Meal plans, enzymes, meal prep - such a great resource that I can see myself using time and time again! I HIGHLY recommend this - thank you Dr. Izabella Wentz - you are an amazing person and I am so happy to be an avid follower of yours

So grateful I found this cookbook! I'm trying to eat healthy, so I can heal my body from years of stress and various mystery symptoms related to thyroid. This cookbook is perfect! Written by a true expert in the pharmacology of food, the recipes are simple, incredible, and tested by real people. I know this is a cookbook that will live in my kitchen for many years to come.

I'm loving this cookbook so far! I was in need of some new inspiration in the kitchen and this book really delivers. It's beautiful and such a helpful resource for those with Hashimoto's and other autoimmune conditions. And even for those who don't have Hashimoto's, there are so many great healthy recipes- I've only tried a few so far but they were delicious. Will definitely be recommending to my Paleo friends!

I was so excited to finally get my hands on this book. I've been a fan of Dr. Wentz for years, and she did it again! I'm so happy to finally have a cookbook that meets my dietary requirements. But this is more than just a cookbook - to my surprise, the first few chapters of the book contains guides on how to tackle nutrient deficiencies, optimize your thyroid hormone levels, and more! It's a great gift to give others to help them understand your Hashimoto's dietary needs - and inspire them to make you thyroid healing meals, too! Everyone with Hashimoto's should have a copy of this valuable resource!

What an amazing resource this book is! I love the beautiful full color photos of the yummy recipes and there are so many I want to try! This book offers easy healthy recipes that even on the busiest days I can still have a healthy meal for myself and family. I have purchased now all 3 of Dr. Izabella Wentz's books. I love them all!

I am so excited Dr. Wentz has finally released a cookbook! It's beautiful and full of fresh, new Paleo and Autoimmune Protocol recipes! Our entire family eats Autoimmune/Paleo to keep my Hashimoto's and food sensitivities in check and symptoms at a minimum. I've already tried a few of her recipes and we are in love with them! Thank you, Dr. Wentz, for all the resources and information available in the front of the book, too. I can't wait to try even more of your amazing recipe!

I love this cookbook! I have Hashimoto's and have been working to identify my food triggers and dial in my diet to relieve symptoms, and this is by far the best resource out there! It not only includes a ton of delicious recipes for various diets that are helpful for people with autoimmune conditions (and explains how to find the diet that works for you), but also goes above and beyond, providing guidance on nutrient depletions, enzyme deficiencies, and actual solutions to address these things.

I am so happy to have this cookbook! I couldn't wait to get this book as I am a long-time follower of Dr. Izabella Wentz. Her other two books have really helped me to get my Hashimoto's and thyroid disease into remission. It is hard to find new and exciting dishes that are easy to make and will please my picky eaters. The recipes are very doable and the ingredients are easy to find. There are many chapters in the beginning that go over important things like nutrient deficiencies (I had many) the importance of digestive enzymes, and many tips and tools to make healing as easy as possible. Highly recommend for anyone with thyroid disease or other autoimmune conditions,
