He IS My Mr. Perfect! - The Perfect Demon
My parents and their society friends insisted that I should get remarried. But, getting remarried had never even occurred to me. Not even after my husband and soul-mate was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

People never understood my condition, neither did I. Sometimes when family members insisted, I thought marrying a high-society guy would shut the mouth of the so – called society which raised its eye brows every time I went to prison to visit my husband. But then I was never of the kind of woman who would forsake her husband. So was my plight. I couldn't let go of my hardships and mockery by marrying someone else, nor could I tolerate being the subject of ridicule of high-society. It was indeed becoming impossible to live life with the tag of a prisoner’s wife on my forehead.

The saga continues... in part 3, The Perfect Demon!

In part 3, I find myself being betrayed and blackmailed as I plan my wedding. As everyone in my bougie family is running around all excited, no one seems to care about how miserable I am inside. And, Mr. Perfect is beginning to scare me more and more as the day gets closer. Too many things just aren't adding up.

Part 3 brings more mystery to the table. Questions are answered, but even more need to be. Things begin to come together as Derrick and his sister Michelle (Love At First Site - The Prisoner's Wife) work together to uncover lies... lies that include mob gangster, Mr Biggs!

About the Author

My name is Renee Patterson. I write short stories, articles and blogs related to prison loved ones. Being the loved one of many-a-prisoner, I've found that we need support just as much as the prisoners themselves do. I may not need someone to put “money on my books” or drive 400 miles to visit me. But, there are times when I need inspiration to get me through a lonely day of missing my best friend... or a holiday that should be a happy time, but all I can do is long for a hug from my mother.

Prison stories are my niche. I write them, not only to support and inspire others, but to give me strength. I need hope, too. I hope that when my mother is finally released from prison, she'll be ready for the world. I hope that 25-to-life doesn't have to be forever for my favorite younger cousin, or my stupid, young little brother. I hope that the love of my life, my soulmate, the man I hope to marry someday, can stay strong and keep believing that I'm here, for him, waiting, patiently and faithfully. I write to keep from crying. I just hope that someone can pull strength from my stories.

I will always be there for my loved ones in prison... to the best of my ability. And, I understand others who go out of their way for their prison wives, husbands, fiance's, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, etc... These are the people I write for... the loved ones. I am my advocate. I am their advocate. I am not an advocate for prisoners. I am an advocate for their dedicated loved ones.
