Such a great book! I'm a total romantic suspense junkie. This book was like crack for me. Had it all. The suspense over who's trying to kill the heroine, but I loved that she's not some spineless woman waiting for the big, bad alpha to save the day. She's kickass all on her own. What can I say about Nate. Yep, he's that big, bad alpha who's completely devoted to Kay and will stop at nothing to protect her.

This book started off with action, and action continued all the way through to the last. Kay was one tough cookie except when it came to Nate. I wanted to smack her at times for her treatment of him. It had been ten years since he left her to pursue his military career, and she was still holding that grudge. Seeing the need for his help was greater than her self pity, Kay put those feelings aside. I liked that there was just enough humor to off set the nail biting in this action story.
