About the Author

Dr. Jennifer Gilbert is a seasoned teacher that has worked in Texas and abroad. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, she traveled the world as a member of a military family and always knew she wanted to be an educator. She earned a bachelor’s degree in child development and business administration from Tarleton State University and a master’s in adult education and training from the University of Phoenix. She also earned a Ph.D. in Christian education from Northwestern Theological Seminary School and is completing her dissertation for her Ed.D. at the University of Phoenix. She has two children and a grandson.
