About the Author

Retiring in 1992 from IBM, from the finance and business control department in Essex Junction VT, my husband, Leon, and I became snowbirds in Florida, later moving to Polo Park in Davenport, Florida, where I was active in the amateur radio (HAM) club and Citizen Assisted Patrol (CAP) for the Polk County sheriff and an active member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for fourteen years. In 2006, my husband of fifty-three years went home to Jesus. I became a resident of Florida, residing in Polo Park. With my children all settled in their careers and with the urging from my dreams, I started writing and publishing my stories. I have moved to the Gardens of Port Saint Lucie in Florida, an assisted care facility due to having corticobasal ganglionic syndrome, a rare disease. It’s no wonder it’s rated five stars. The service is excellent and so are the special people taking care of me. It’s friendly, and it makes you feel right at home, especially when my family visits. I enjoyed the time to write Hidden in Plain Sight.
