Overview

When her brother's daughter is captured by the rival clan Macnaghtan, Gillian rashly volunteers to save her as clan Adam's champion. Her opponent, the mysteriously silent and unmoving Madman Macnaghtan, isn't what Gillian expects, especially when he refuses to fight her. Desperate and willing to do anything to make peace between the feuding clans, Gillian tries a final strategy to get under Macnaghtan's skin and save her clan.

This is a Scottish short story romance with a hint of Scottish brogue. Previously published as a short story in Love Undefined, an anthology.

A very short story...not satisfying to a book reader. I suppose it could be an interesting introduction to a book. The characters are good and the storyline interesting but dialogue would be very difficult to read for more than 20 pages.
