 High Hopes Tavern is an absorbing debut novel set in sun-drenched Fort Lauderdale Florida. The tavern is a mythical gathering place for people you will want to get to know. About the Author

When asked how he felt qualified to write a novel mostly from the perspective of women, Ken had a ready response. "I was a feminist long before it was fashionable and have spoken up for every aspect of equal rights as long as I can remember. I've always been interested in women's views and worked throughout my airline career with talented, distinguished women at Eastern Airlines and later at Amadeus North America, Inc., a world leader travel technology company. You get thoroughly indoctrinated in the gospel of women's rights in 35 years.

“I also sought the advice of women while writing this novel. I'll leave it to the readers to tell me if I've captured the feminine essence with my characters."

Born and raised in New Jersey, Ken was transferred to Miami in 1981 with Eastern Airlines. Fort Lauderdale is home and his love for that city and travel inspired him to write his debut novel, High Hopes Tavern.
