This is what Herodotus, the famous Greek historian, did. Where he says in his history, as I have translated: Assyria includes many large cities, but the most glorious of these cities and the most powerful and powerful is the city of Babylon, and the kings of that country have made it their capital since the destruction of the city of Nineveh.
