Overview

Kiki is a 9 year old girl who likes to climb trees with her monkey friends, especially Charlie, and speaking animal language.She often wears big red boots and holey jeans.She definitely doesn't like to wear pretty frocks and pink shoes. Her stories are about all the adventures she has with her animal friends, usually helping someone or another animal. In this story a little polar bear needs her help.
The stories are aimed at children in the 5 to 8 age bracket for reading alone, or with adults.

About the Author

I grew up in Salford, close to Manchester, England. I never wanted the factory life on offer there and looked to music as my salvation from Trafford Park. To some degree my prayers were answered as in my 20s I was a professional musician. However, the life of a musician is a precarious one and after some years the bohemian life began to wear thin so I became an English teacher.
I now live in the Czech Republic and to shorten the cold winters here I began to write children's stories and also adult fiction and plays.
Also, I compose ambient and electronica and have been played several times on Stuart Maconie's BBC6 FreakZone.
