About the Author

-About The Author And Book- M. A. Jenkins was born and raised in a comparatively small home setting, along with an older sister and a younger brother. His father passed away when he was seventeen, while his mother passed much later in life. He couldn't have asked for a better relationship with his brother and sister, and enjoys spending time with both of them when he can. The Haunting Of Debishire Manor is his second novel, “Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark”, is his first. Besides those two, he has written three in a series, children's books, entitled, “The Many Adventures Of Oscar Rabbit”, and is working on a third novel. Most of his youth was spent in the fear and anxiety of living in a house of constant haunts. It wasn't until much later, many years after he had moved out, that he came to realize what was responsible for the hauntings, and learned how to cleanse the house of all supernatural activity, thus restoring peace to their mother's house. Many of the things portrayed as happening to the characters in The Haunting Of Debishire Manor, actually happened to the author during his stay at his mother's house. Their were so many more terrifying instances which went on around him and his family, some almost beyond normal understanding, spanning a period of over four decades, he chose not to put into print. Now he chooses to help others out of their haunted situations rather than just tolerating them or living in fear as he once did.
