About the Author

Julia E. Antoine began writing at an early age. She wrote short stories for the local radio station in her home town for a story time program. She gave up writing to attend college, where she earned several degrees, including two Masters and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University in Boston. During the course of her schooling, she wrote and published a working curriculum for a career school, as well as other literary work. A year ago she revisited her first love, writing for fun and enjoyment. She has written several children's books, including three romance novels. However, her greatest love is writing about the Caribbean Islands and their many, varied, and interesting people. She is currently administrator of a career school in Connecticut and the President of a non-profit organization, Professional Wardrobe, Inc., which dresses individuals for job interviews. Ms. Antoine is very active in her community and is always willing to assist and help someone in need.
