We finally get our happily ever after.....

Remington "Remy" Sawyer

For most of my life I've been the person who lived with the hand he was dealt. Not much in my life have I had a say in. Birthed by parents I don't talk to, I was raised by the only person who ever cared for me - my brother, Cash. Under his guidance, I've become the person I am today.

Productive member of society, and patched brother in the Heaven Hill MC.

I don't want for anything, other than Tatum Walker.

We had a shot, and we both screwed it up......massively.

Tatum "Tate" Walker

Being the daughter of the President of the Heaven Hill MC is a burden, but one I'll face every day with pride. It's hard for me to know what people like me for. Is it my personality, my looks, or are they trying to get close to the Club? There's one person I've never doubted.

Remington Sawyer.

A year ago we had one night of almost passion - that ended with me walking away in tears - and him walking away in anger.

Some time away from each other has given us perspective. Now, instead of the storm of chaos that was our one attempt at a relationship, we're both ready for calm.

And nothing, they say, is as calm - as the eye of a Hurricane.

I don't read a lot of MC romance, but being a Kentucky girl, I couldn't resist a series set around Bowling Green. It's not exactly a stone's throw from me but darn close. Hurricane gives us a second chance for Tatum and Remy, and I'm a sucker for second chances, so it didn't take me long to start rooting for this couple. We also get the added bonus of a sort of enemies to lovers story with Tatum and Remy since she's been mad at him for the past year. The story is emotional and even heartbreaking at times, especially when it dips into Remy's childhood. It's also equally heartwarming as this pair finds their footing with each other. I have to say I loved Remy's idea for getting his foot in the relationship door with Tatum. There is some danger to deal with, but most of the story revolves around the romance, which is equal parts sweet, sexy, and swoon-worthy. Remy and Tatum are like pieces of the same puzzle. They have their differences, but they still just fit. This is the first book in a spin-off series, but I had no trouble figuring everyone out and following the story. I like that the author gives enough backstory to avoid confusion without getting into info dump territory. And after meeting this wonderful group of characters, I'm hooked, so will be checking out that earlier series.

Oh be still my heart. I’ve been a Laramie fan since I had the pleasure of discover her Moonshine Task Force series, however I went I to Hurricane with some trepidation as sometimes MCs are too dark and make me uncomfortable. However, I was certainly not disappointed with this book. I’ve been in such a Book funk lately and I think Laramie has just cured me. This book is such stunningly beautiful read, and an exploration in what family really means, that blood isn’t always family and family isn’t exclusively blood, sometime you find your place when you least expect it. It was magical. This is a second chance, bildungsroman style romance that explores forgiveness, maturity and how love can be worth taking a chance on someone. Tate is an eighteen year old young woman, raised in the Heaven Hill MC with her father as the pres. She’s the club princess, many seeing her as a daughter or little sister, making her incredibly sheltered and protected, and in some ways she has been spoilt by them. She’s stubborn, independent and hot headed but she also has this gentle vulnerability, she’s so used to outsiders only being interested in her for who her father is that she’s made sure to shelter her heart from everyone that could hurt her. Especially Remy, and especially after that night everything changed for them. I adored Tate so much, she’s got her faults, as does everyone and she’s made some big mistakes in her life, especially where Remy is concerned but truly she’s a beautiful person with such a big, pure, kind heart. She also learnt a lot in their year apart, about herself, about growing up and most of all about love and the importance of patience. And Remy? I don’t even know where to begin to explain the love I feel for this soft hearted biker. Remy is kind, he’s devoted to his club and the only thing that has or will ever be a bigger priority to him is Tate. I may actually be in love with him (sorry Tate, don’t fight me). He’s just he’s wow, I love him. He’s got this unbreakable inner strength that was born from his horrific childhood and developed through the love he found with his true family in the MC. He’s such a beautiful soul, surrounded by equally caring, beautiful people and I cannot wait to go back and read the rest of the Heaven Hill books because oh my gosh do I need more in my life. Enjoy!

I was so excited to read this next generation of the Heaven Hill series. You can read this as a standalone and not be out of the loop. I have read most of the series, but I am missing a few and I don’t know how I missed them. I better get reading! Tatum “Tate” Walker is the President’s daughter of the Heaven Hill MC and she grew up with the security and love of her family and her MC family. She’s young at 20 and she is a force of nature. She is known around the club as a hurricane. She is outspoken and has been known for bratty behavior. She has been in love with Remington “Remy” Sawyer for a long time and at an MC party, she and Remy had a thing and then they had a very volatile falling out. I won’t get into the particulars as you need to read the book to find out how things transpired. Remy is a wonderful man. He is a hard worker, he is a loyal MC brother, he is a loving brother to Cash and his sister-in-law who raised him. Remy and Cash had a terribly abusive childhood and when Cash could he took Remy out of that hell. Remy has been in love with Tate since their tryst last year. They had been best friends for years and he missed her. He had to take matters into his own hands and try to repair the damage. That’s where I am going to leave it as the reader needs to dive in and enjoy the journey that is Tate and Remy. I fell in love with the characters both old and new. The book flowed well, and I had more than a few swoons as Remy is a soft spoken and kind of shy guy, but oh man can he can be very sexy and very alpha! Tate is a very lucky girl! I laughed, I wanted to cry and when I finished the book I felt satisfied. There are some intense topics that could be triggers for some, however, the author handled them with care. The secondary characters have so much potential for future books that I am just chomping at the bit to get my hands on the next installment. I hope you fall in love with this new series like I did.

This is my first foray into Heaven Hill and I feel like I'm really slow to the party. I know when I read a Laramie Briscoe title I'm going to be treated to one heck of a ride filled with big emotions; lots of drama and no little personal growth. I have yet to make it to the end of one without having reached for the tissues. Just like their families, Remy and Tatum's estrangement broke my heart. The pain they'd caused each other, accidentally and on purpose, cut deep. But I loved watching them grow up, man up, and work through everything that had been keeping them apart. I see some Heaven Hill binge reading in my future to get caught up and prepare me for the next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

Heaven Hill MC is back!!!! Little Tatum is all grown up and making demands. The beginning of the novel leaves bread crumbs as to what happened between Tatum and Remy. My favorite part of this story is how much of a change the reader can see in Tatum. She matures fast for such a young age to get the man she deserves. Remington aka Remy takes drastic measures to get Tatum's attention. He knows he messed up and he just wants to get her back. The romance from these two, no matter if they are arguing or not, is incredibly strong. It's a love we all want. **Reckless Readers**

Remy and Tatum have finally got the chance to be together and they almost ruin their chances. Tatum has always lived under the shield of the Heaven Hill MC, her daddy is none other than the president of said MC. She fell in love with Remy years before. Tired of waiting Tatum makes her move, one night ruins years of friendship. Remy is a patched member of Heaven Hill MC, after the MC helped Remy and his brother out, saving them from certain trouble. Remy has always craved the family life that the MC provides. Remy has many brothers throughout the MC, it’s also bringing him the woman he wants. Remy pushed her away thinking he was protecting her from his crazy upbringing. Remy and Tatum are the next generation of Heaven Hill MC, it would not be the same without the love between all the members and their outside influences. I have waited for a long time to see these two figure things out and become one. The love that Remy has is so strong and so powerful he steps up and apologizes for letting anything come between them. Taking things slow proves to be very difficult for them both. Tatum has many things she regrets, in order to move forward they need to not look back. Its very clear to see the love they share will be a life long love, no one will every take the place of them. Knowing they want to help each other move forward in life, while still muddling through a crippling childhood. I enjoy seeing how they worked to calm each other and really start to form a relationship. It was a very intense flow of emotions while reading Hurricane. I completely enjoyed reading this second chance love story involving another generation of Heaven Hill. Ms. Briscoe did not keep readers waiting without providing a reward.
