Overview

This is an introduction to the world of hypnosis designed for individuals who wish to help themselves. The authors offer a step-by-step guide and introduce the reader to what the phenomenon truly is, what it means to be hypnotized, and why. They explore its history and offer three specific ideas to truly undergo the experience. Readers are taken through a hypnosis session of their own that helps them know what to expect not only from the actual session but the physical
feelings they may experience. This is a comprehensive guide for self-hypnosis and it provides sample positive suggestions for use with each individual’s program. Many of the myths surrounding hypnosis are dispelled and the readers walk away with a greater understanding of this natural tool and its application to their everyday lives.
