About the Author

Josh Bacon, Ph.D., has taught and been an administrator at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA, where he served most recently as Dean of Students. He spent 20 years initiating programs in Restorative Justice at JMU, creating “Rebound,” and bringing Restorative practices to the campus’ discipline process. He has consulted with colleges around the country on Restorative Justice, with the city of Harrisonburg, VA, and with cases diverted from the criminal system.
