IBM DB2 Insert/Select Part 2
Previously we configured IBM Data Studio to prepare to run an 'Insert Statement' via its query builder tool; the database management product comes complete with a set of tools to administer IBM DB2 databases under the Task Launcher portion of the software. At this point, we are ready to run our first query, if you are following along, you will happy to learn that you can simply drop a table into the Query Window of the builder to systematically create an insert query statement and submit values to the table in question. Our goal is to create a table to house all error logs and web services data for our IBM Domino Designer and Oracle JDeveloper projects. For now, we will go through our testing, while ensuring areas of interest are highlighted for your convenience.
