Author Biography: Dr. George Brewer is a physician medical scientist and a Professor of Human Genetics and Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. His research career has taken him into many diverse fields of medicine and genetics. He has published extensively in the scientific literature on these medical and genetic topics. In the last few years he has been writing medical thrillers, such as I.D., which take a scientific idea and push it a little beyond the envelope of current capability or knowledge, and then build a story around these new developments. Besides I.D., he has written two other medical thriller novels, The Death Gene and The Bloodcicle Agent, which he expects to publish in Xlibris.
