Overview

This very short story was originally intended to be the forward of my next book due out in the fall of 2012. I felt there was enough character on both sides with both young Bobby and the man who befriends him at the fairgrounds, that I found myself compelled to expand on how they meet and what follows.
What happened that night on the fairgrounds is an important event in both Bobby's and the man's life. It was only the culmination of circumstance and coincidence that allowed these two to meet the way they did, allowing the man to follow through with his attempt to abduct young Bobby for his own sordid purposes.
