Features: The book covers important patient care issues such as talking with and taking care of patients, precautions, important vital signs, and ethical issues that could come up. The illustrations are adequate and help clarify what technologists should expect on a clinical floor. Each chapter has a glossary and the end of the book includes quizzes.
Assessment: This book does a good job of educating students about what is required of them and what is expected of them as they become licensed technologists. New editions are necessary to reflect changes in technology and patient care.
