Very inspirational story, just when u think you had it tough theres someone out there who may have had it worse, if u had it hard theres others so close that may have experienced similar events, its always easir giving up than staying strong with dedication, if you dont try you may never see the ppostive outcome of journey, its only when you smile at the world it smiles back at u

The book made me think I really do not have it all that bad after all. It made me cry when it told the details about her geting beat and basicaly raped. I would never ever wantto be treated like that, that was horrible to hear how thi women treats these kid after all he have been through. When I becomea mother I will never treat my kids he way this women id no matter how mad at them I maybe. Over all it was an amzing book. Just to think how hardit musr have been for Abbie to live like this.

A very sad story of survival despite the odds. I could not believe that a mother or any woman for that matter could treat a child in such a horrible way. I cried throughout the reading. A child is a gift from God and his innocence must be protected at all times.

Loved this book. It is so sad that anyone could go through the abuse the writer did, but I was so happy that she found happiness in the end.

What a self-destructive young lady. I mean, I know it wasn't her fault, because of what was done to her in her childhood, but wow!! This was a incredible story to say the least.
