This stuff really happens. Entertaining, educational, well written and thought out, this is a book that should be read by every college freshman and their parents alike.
Jack Murphy begins early in 2007 as the title character begins college in Portland Maine, near his home town. Jack and his friends spend their time away from class and work just like most college students in Maine, playing beer pong and smoking weed. They have a lot of fun and really endear themselves to the reader. As the year goes on however, weed transitions from a habit to a business for Jack, and he moves on to more profitable substances of abuse.
Drug trafficking can be exciting and dangerous one minute and as boring as any other job the next. Jack Murphy uses a fictional story to provide a firsthand account of the realities of the business as it existed for a finite period of time on a small corner of the giant rock we all call home.
