About the Author

As an educator of elementary students in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools for more than twenty years, Candace has a repertoire of interesting stories to tell to children and the young at heart. Additionally, she teaches Sunday school to talented and very capable teenagers ages 15-18 years old. Her son is a college student with a dream to become a veterinarian. Candace is privileged to be his mother. She currently resides in Weston, Florida and has two cats, Ebony and Penny.
