About the Author

As an educator of elementary students in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools for more than twenty years, Candace has a repertoire of interesting stories to tell to children and the young at heart. Additionally, she teaches Sunday school to talented and very capable teenagers ages 15-18 years old. Her son is a college student with a dream to become a veterinarian. Candace is privileged to be his mother. She currently resides in Weston, Florida and has two cats, Ebony and Penny. Candace still unashamedly supports her college football team, The Florida State Seminoles, with much enthusiasm and passion which is a major accomplishment while living in South Florida.
