Brookie Brown Dickerson grew up in Mesa, Arizona. She has been writing since she was in elementary school and, just like JJ, she loves words. She graduated from college, taught school, and married her Prince Charming. They have five children and have lived in eight states and Great Britain. Her favorite place to be in the world depends on who she’s with, but somehow home always floats to the top of the list.
