From the time he could remember, Jupiter, code name for the leader of one of the most efficient and highly trained military "Black Ops" teams in the world, wanted to fight against those who would threaten the United States of America.
Jupiter considered himself a patriot, as did those he reported to and worked with, unselfishly giving of himself for "God and Country". The long drawn out wars in the Middle East prior to 9/11 were theaters of operations for "Black Ops" forces from several military branches. Jupiter's squad was home to specialist in all areas of clandestine affairs. What they did best...was kill.
While Jupiter was on assignment, the most precious thing in his life, Emily, and other children her age became hapless victim's of another war, a war that that has no end in sight.
Emily's death brings Jupiter and his squad face to face with the war raging in the streets, courts, Wall Street, and governments. In Jupiter's words, "If you are found with a 'smoking gun' in your hand, you are guilty! I will be your judge, jury, and executioner. I promise you won't wait do die. The end will come quickly. You will be deemed another piece of human garbage that needs to be disposed of before you contaminate the world around you even more."
