About the Author

Paul Ferrier was born on a tropical island in Cayes, a Haitian town, in 1957. Virtually from his infancy, the Ferrier's struggled to meet their son's insatiable appetite for learning. By the age of 12 not only was he continuing to read and learn everything available to him, Paul began writing poetry. He also taught first grade in his native Haiti. Eventually Paul's desire for knowledge made him leave his native Haiti. He attended College in New York and Atlanta and lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and three daughters.
