Since the deaths of her parents, Ceana Gunn has lived in the shadow of her uncle and his family. She wants nothing more than to see her clan the way it was when her father was still laird. But her uncle has other ideas. Ceana soon discovers that the only refuge to be found is in the last place she expects—the arms of her enemy.

Luthais MacKay wants to be left alone. His only interest is training his prized hawks. He certainly doesn’t have time to listen to the petty squabbling of his clan when his father travels to Edinburgh and leaves him in charge. But when Luthais discovers a mysterious woman on his lands, he’s determined to unravel her secrets…one layer at a time.

Kilts And Kisses is an entertaining Highlander romance by Victoria Roberts. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Roberts has given readers a book that is well-written and loaded with outstanding characters. Ceana still mourns the death of her parents and hates the way her uncle has taken over. Luthais is from a neighboring clan and has been informed by his father that he must wed. Luthais and Ceana's story is filled with drama, misunderstandings, backstabbing and sizzle. I enjoyed reading Kilts And Kisses and look forward to reading more from Victoria Roberts in the future. Kilts And Kisses is book 1 of the Kilts and Kisses Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Nice novella always lovedher style of writing but you can see after page 50 she was winging it, but it was good. Only thing is 71 pages for $2.99 seriously!!:/ looking forword for part 2 cause she left us with a cliffhanger!!

Kilts and Kisses by Victoria Roberts "She's a witch." Is the first line in this story. (and it just gets better) Ceana Gunn tries to calm her younger sister down by explaining their aunt is not a witch. The commotion from the bailey told the sisters it was safe to return as the last of their cousins suiters were leaving. Luthais MacKay wants to be left alone or just be around his hawks. Will Luthis wind up with the vain cousin Sorcha? This is the first in a new series by Victoria Roberts you will not want to miss

Ceana's life has not been good since the death pf her parents. Her uncle and cousin have made her and her sister's life miserable. Fate finally shows her some happiness when Luthais comes into her life. Everyone has wanted him to settle down, but he has no urge to do so until he meets the mysterious Ceana. A lot of assumptions and misunderstandings in this one leads to actions they wish they could undue. Will Ceana and Luthais have a future when soon Luthais finds himself betrothed to another? This was my second favorite book in the boxed set.

I really enjoyed Kilts and Kisses. I really liked Ceana Gunn, she is determined to see her clan returned to what it once was. Her and her sister were left orphans and in the care of their uncle when their parents died. Their uncle took their father's place as laird and he was not the same type of man, at all! She has had about enough of her cousin, Sorcha and her childlike manner. She seeks refuge in an unlikely place and then in an unlikely source. The connection and banter between Ceana and Luthais is serious, fun and engaging. Both of them are in positions they do not wish to be in and they turn to each other in order to figure it all out. I loved the flow of this novella, I do really wish it had been longer but cannot wait for the next one! Thank you Victoria Roberts for another wonderful Highland Adventure.

I thought Kilts and Kisses was a fantastic read. Roberts did an amazing job fitting a ton of surprises, passion, and excitement into this novella. I loved the characters! The chemistry between Ceana and Luthais was great, and their story was very interesting. I wish all novellas were done this well.
