La Musica
Author Preface (English):

This time, therefore, O Lord, I'll talk about music. But music, said a great poet, Henry Heine, you should always talk accompanying his words with songs and sounds, that is the maximum sealing by example and making good to all that has vague and faithless word, especially since it d ' an invisible matter and easily elusive to immediate perception of memory, such as music. The difficulties in practice are large. Examples, you say .... Oh I know, when we talk of a poet very effective back some of his verse properly nested; sometimes even only one way it should be better to impress upon the minds of the audience certain characteristics of his poetry than a long speech critic and lecturer. But in the field of music, as you know, the difficulty lies in the execution, then the greater the case of the music there and so perfect executive of the elements at their disposal at that time, I mean the singing and the human voice.
