About the Author

Richard Grünenfelder wurde 1952 in Zürich geboren. Er wuchs in einfachen Verhältnissen im Industriequartier auf. 1979 schloss er sein Soziologiestudium (Nebenfächer Pädagogik und Informatik) mit dem Titel Lizentiat ab. Er arbeitete als Soziologe, Informatiker und Trickfilmer. Als Medizinsoziologe arbeitete er an einem Nationalfondsprojekt über Drogen, Tabak und Alkohol an der psychiatrischen Universitätsklinik Zürich. Im Bereich Trickfilm wurden seine Animationen mit Pico in der Hauptrolle am Fernsehen und an vielen Festivals der Welt gezeigt
