Overview

Last Call by Sean Costello

In the space of a single day, twenty year old Trish West purchases her first car, gets accepted into veterinary college, and finds her rock star father, Jim Gamble, a man who vanished into the streets before she was born and now clings to life in a Toronto intensive care unit.

Eager to establish a relationship with Mr. Gamble, Trish heads out from her Northern Ontario home that very day to stand at his bedside. But along the way, she crosses paths with a man who will upend her life and the lives of everyone she cares about.

Meet Bobcat, a savage serial killer christened The Dentist by the press, a deranged trophy hunter who sees Trish as the ultimate prize.

Last Call is a story of lost innocence, sociopathic obsession and moral redemption that is certain to haunt you long after you’ve read the last page.

About the Author

Sean Costello is the author of eight novels and six screenplays, two of which are currently under option to film. Depending on the whims of his muse, Costello's novels alternate between two distinct genres: Horror and Thriller. His horror novels have drawn comparisons to the works of Stephen King, and his thrillers to those of Elmore Leonard. In the real world he's an anesthesiologist, but, if asked, he'd tell you he'd much rather be writing. Recently, all of his titles have been made available as ebooks, wherever ebooks are sold. Sean is currently hard at work on several new writing projects.

A little gory at a few points, but not so bad. Believable story line, easy to read. My second book from Sean Costello, both of which were fast paced and kept you wanting to get to the end. Great crime fiction read!

As always, Sean Costello has brought us an interesting and unique tale. Fast read, interesting characters, point of view distinctly different. I wait impatiently for the next one....

I started this book one evening and didn't put it down till 3#0 the next morning. Well written and keeps you creeped out all the way through. Must read for people who like to be scared while they're snug in their bed....with the doors locked. Can't wait to start Squall tonight.

I got started late in the evening, but became so caught up in the stoty, I finished of around four A

This book was wonderfully twisted! Bobcat was a lunatic and terrifying. I was gripped from page one, always wondering what was going to happen next. It was another Costello novel I found myself unable to put down!
