This is a great collection that my soon to be 3-year old loves. I give her one book at a time as a treat. She's taken Zac the Rat to school, must sleep with the book, etc. She's learning the basic sounds and is able to distinguish the different words as I read. She also loves playing the games online and is able to do the interactive puzzles. I also thought the story lines and illustrations were more fun (and more appealing) than other learn to read phonics programs. We were not looking for a DVD/book combo - just books and some games that would be fun to read together. I don't want learning to read to feel like a chore for her - just a natural progression at her age. This program is just that.
