 Couldn't put the book down!

Great read! I really enjoyed this story. It was a quick read that kept my attention from page 1. I couldn't put the book down and can't wait for a sequel. The book was descriptive enough that I could visualize the characters moving through the scenes...but it was not overkill. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read. I am usually not into "fantasy" type books but it was amazing. I'm glad I gave it a try!!

 Very pleasant surprise!

I didn't think it would be my cup of tea since it was way outside my usual genre. What a pleasant surprise! Once I started it, I didn't put it down until I finished. I did not miss how real life lessons were woven into the fictional adventure. Can't wait for the sequel!

Gripping story and engaging characters

The writing vividly brought the characters and their challenges to life. Very action packed and suspenseful, leaving me rooting for the protagonist and his family. Now I can't wait for the sequel!

Jay did a great job with describing the scene and characters as if you are right there with them. It keeps your attention to the end and the series is sure to be consumed by his readers. Great for any age group as well.

Great, family friendly read. Has adventure, humor, action, and family resolutions. All in all, can't go wrong adding this book to your collection!
