About the Author

Stephanie L. Zito is a native New Yorker and freelance professional Cellist, and Christian. She is a retired Music Educator and String Specialist who taught in a variety of schools throughout New York State. After she relocated to the Catskills in the Town of Kortright, she moved into an historic and dilapidated barn with her dogs and cat's. Inspired by her surroundings, Stephanie creates music and art, concerts, and composes music. She has also had to study New York State Law and represent herself as a “pro se”. She shares some of the most significant chapters in her life, and tells the story about the tragic murder of her beloved brother Peter Zito, Jr. The book reveals how life can be tests of faith in God, and survival.
