Chapter One
Inspiration
Inspiration starts by first looking at yourself in the mirror and truly loving and respecting what you see. Once you can do that, you can always make something out of nothing.
LET THE POWER SURGE
I am the receptor of pain for my people
through the flame of the mother
I will be allowed to burn the hearts and minds of all evil
through death, I will be relieved
I am calling now on the strength of my ancestors
to give me power to teach myself and my people
the light that's within my soul
shines through the trees in my mind
making the roots grow in my heart
my spirit sings through my lips
direction flows through my body,
through my womb of nature,
I give birth to god,
not in heaven, not in hell, but through man,
where his mind is his direction,
deeds of truth and diet will guide him,
through the uterus comes a seed,
through that seed comes a mind,
through that mind comes a feeling,
through that feeling there's a soul,
through your soul there's life,
with life there's peace,
through peace there's happiness,
with happiness comes light,
through light there's direction,
through direction you will find faith,
with faith you'll have vision,
with vision we will lead,
As I testify my soul to thee
I love to give all I can through the power of my ancestors,
who allowed me to rise again,
through my man give me strength,
and through my child,
let me raise a good man
Let The Power Surge
FEELINGS
When I feel emotion starting to take
over my mindset
I feel I need to be in more control
when I feel sad,
I feel I need to search
deep within my soul to find happiness
when I feel pain,
I feel immediate vibes to soothe the
wound
when I feel
I feel from the spirit,
the spirit that guides me everyday of
my life
since birth, till death
I feel the feeling of knowing what to feel
and how to feel that way
when I feel life
light shines upon my darkest fears
when I feel love
vision enlightens my mind beyond egotistical values
when I become at peace with myself
I don't have to feel anymore
because now I am what I feel
DON'T GIVE UP
When my mother looked at me
she couldn't help to see
that I'm filled with so much reality
I see tears in her eyes, yet I'm not surprised
when she embraced me with fear
she said, I know you're strong determined and bright
the cause you chose for freedom fight
I did my job and can't wait to see
how you will grow and make your destiny
I'll tell you something and to me it's very real
it has nothing to do with the fear that I feel
yet you need to know the route you choose
you have to stay sharp or you will lose
you observe carefully from the things you hear
with your strong source of truth
you know death will be near
so stay on your track and don't let go
because with the youth, the truth will grow
I'll tell you something
that I'm sure you can understand
you're a good person
and your skills are in demand
now that's enough to keep you in
check
but don't take success with careless
neglect
go in full, pure and strong
with the truth of your message
it won't be long
so what I really mean to say,
when you do what you gotta do
baby, please be safe
cause what you're doing now it may
feel right,
but remember my dear
it's not easy to fight
yet the vision of your world will soon unite

I CAN FLY
Spaces in my mind
occupy the realms of my thinking,
cloudy like the winter sky
I pull from my inner strength just to get by
promises of weeping willows
seek happiness of beautiful birds
gliding throughout the sky
I just realize
I Can Fly
higher than the walls that I enter
higher than the buildings I see
forcefully planting themselves against gravity
I can move mountains with my mind
no obstacles can stand in my way but my own
I can carry courage and pride
like the wind carries the clouds
effortlessly
I can walk, talk, sing and dance all with the thrust of a
breath
Oh, I'm high, so high
that my spirit can reach endless bounds
travel to places that worldly minds couldn't imagine
I love like the depths of the ocean
Oh how I love
holding myself with loving arms
embracing the only presence that is truly protecting me
slowly touching the very part of me
that responds to infinite sensations
gently placing my body temple in a place
where I know I can relax
then with grace
I open my arms, eyes and heart and spin around in a circle
anointing my soul with passion, fire and calm
Oh calm me down in a neutral position
so I can reflect, introspect and go inside
cause I cannot hide from me
can't you see, didn't you believe that

YOU ARE
You are, you are
the best you can be
right now and throughout eternity
You are, you are
that star that shines
deep within your soul that reflects through your mind
You are, you are
uniqueness is you
can't anyone take it, no one has a clue
You are, you are
entitle to run your life
anyway that you want with no fuss or
strife
You are, you are
as sweet as a nectar tree
with thoughts made of gold
and a heart that is free
You are, you are
a spirit made at hand
yes if you're a woman or even a man
You are, you are
like a wave
that forces the water forward
you to can do the same
when in tune with the inner self
you have lit the eternal flame
that will shine as long as you walk
with vigor and not with shame
of who you are and what you'll be
it's being who you are that will set you free
and now you hold the key
you are, you are
a blessing a message from great lands afar
most importantly I'll like to share with you
to be exactly who and what
you are,
YOU ARE
PEACE OF MIND
With a peace of mind
she walks through life
along the vibrations of the wind
Beautiful stand,
emotions as soft as the summer breeze
caressing your body
she stands tall, yet proud
Her face is made of truthful figures
her smile is as white as the winter snow
when she speaks, it's like a seashell in your hand
gently whistling in your ear for love
Her touch can heal all doubt
when her heart reaches yours
the shape of her body figure
takes your imagination beyond the universe
No one dares to bother her
for she is your walking light
her strength will compel any intruder
within the boundaries of truth
one who is impure
may not cross her path
without repentance
she fears nothing
for fear has released her consciousness back to purity
she has no feuds or revenge
just a peace of mind to offer
to anyone who will accept her
HEARTBEAT
In my mind,
I can see the trees beyond the forest
with proud assurance within my soul
I reach out
to feel the passionate sensation of my heartbeat
In tune with my heart
yet it won't skip its beat
my heart just sings out a pretty song
my love of nature belongs within me
within loving expressions
I rise for acceptance
I give forever my testimony of faith
that's all over my face
It shows continuously through your loving heartbeat
All I can hear is the sound of music
filling my mind with power
through the source of self-love
I can be what I need to be
and love who I am
The stronger my heartbeats
the faster the message reaches my brain
The motion of my movement begins to come alive ...
It's living
I'm living
as I hear the sound of my heartbeat
Oh graceful,
the sound of my heartbeat is strong
overwhelming you can call it
The music awakes my chamber of everlasting peace
so good you make me feel ...

My love is what makes you strong
my faith makes you move forward
to catch the total essence of belief

The most powerful presence on this earth is a woman. We are the creators of life, and we build nations of greatness Sisters' Know your power and understand that all women have something special to share.
THE ESSENCE OF A WOMAN
As women we posses the finest quality of life's essence
every thought we have,
every step we take
triggers our star within to shine brighter
we are a walking miracle
holding the key of birth in our soul
we open the door of everlasting sensations of just being alive
Since the beginning of time
we have been the strong hold of life
the back bone of creation,
and the presence of visible beauty
The Essence of A Woman
Can never be compared, measured or even copied
for our soul runs deep
with infinite power racing through our veins
expressing the spiritual completeness of
love and divine order
We have carried the world in the palm of our hands
fed the land with the milk from our breast
graced the earth with the softness of our touch
showered the living with the tears from our eyes
caressed the breeze with the gentleness of our breathe
formed the waters with the depth of our hearts
and then,
life was born with the strength and power of our womb

Is to be noticed
our contributions are large
our struggle is necessary
our wisdom is vast
our presence is felt
and our bodies are pure vessels of concentrated spirit
We can never be compared, measured or even copied
for the most special and well created essence is

building and nurturing all the qualities and morals I have

the goddess of my dreams
The creation of what makes a women a star
I would like to remind you that you're great and
that I love you more than words can express

WOMAN OF MEANS
I'm a woman of means
no sacrificing my dreams
to entice my base desires
so I'm trying to give you advice
So come relate to this message
embedded in my brain
no conversation, just a mission
of success that I must gain
Just check your flow
so you'll know
that it's bout time to come correct
so stop the games
baby shame on you
cause you have no respect
Just give it time
And you will find

Actions reflect

Taking care of my own
Working hard
Paying bills

just understanding and assistance
with diligence
to claim my fame
I've come too far
to have someone
talk about what they can do
pursue your actions
not your words
lip service works for only you
I find that people like to feel
what it's like to be in demand
but you're not God
and it's not hard
to close your mouth
reach out a hand
Let's come together
help each other
with two
it makes a better stand
No one is smaller
or even greater
helping myself
have made me see
it's not depending on another
but instead depend on me
