Letters of Sorrows in the Philosophy of Beauty and Love
It is (Letters of Sorrows) not because it came from sadness but because it ended in sadness, then because it is from a tongue that was a ladder translating from a heart that was a war, then because this love story was springing up like life, moving towards a grave that had no relation or enmity with love. But it left behind three things: a heart that was loyal to her and that I incited against her, and remnants of pain like the illusions of the remains of a prey that point to a history of death, pain and dismemberment. And with these two, it left behind its name, which I preserve in its entirety. The disease may be cured, but its name remains a disease as long as it remains. Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafi'i
