I want you to understand the importance of daily devotion. It can be the Lord's prayer, a quote or a motivational speech. Let it be the start and end to your day. This daily devotion will allow you to stay focused on your dreams and provide a covering over you as you face each roadblock. This routine will help lead you in the right direction every time.

The world has so much to offer, so enjoy your life and explore. Take your education serious but know that you can obtain an education beyond the four walls of a classroom. Anything and everything you need to know is available and within your reach. Empower others also to gain the knowledge and use it to better themselves and the future generations to come.

Family is your foundation and love holds us together. Family teaches you love, trust, understanding, and forgiveness. What you learn in our home will be the tools you will need out in the world. You come from a strong family, and we expect you to be fearless! Have faith that everything will work out no matter how ugly any situation may look. When all else fails, and there is nowhere to go or anyone to turn to just know that your faith will always carry you through.

You may find that you are good at so many things! However, be sure to find your true gift. Use your gift to be a blessing to others. Don't give only because that's what we taught you or because it's the right thing to do. Share and give because it's from your heart and it's what you love to do. Be a cheerful giver throughout your life and watch how much you grow. Always let your light shine, but never forget that to give is better than to receive.

Your health is very important, and it's not always about what you eat. Your physical, emotional, and mental state coincides with your overall health. Be mindful of the foods you eat, the thoughts you think and the words you say. Do, say and feel what makes you happy. However, I want you to know that words are potent, and they can be a blessing or a curse. You will eventually learn to make your own choices, and may your lifestyle and decisions lead you to eternal life in heaven!

I pray that you keep your innocence despite the world's heavy peer pressure on your shoulders. At all times look and act your age as this will help to protect you. You are no one's trophy, possession, slave, etc. You are a princess and from a family of royalty. Invest your time into teaching other young girls that they are precious in every way and to never take off their crown. Inspire them to stick together, uplift and encourage one another because you are all princesses and our future queens!

Please be kind to others even if they are not always kind to you. As you get older, you will understand that some individuals are only acting or responding based on the behaviors they have learned. Sometimes it's truly not their fault. Study people and ethics, as this will help you to understand their actions rather than judging them. May you be blessed with the ability of compassion and understanding, but also the ability to stand firm and to not be a doormat. Knowledge is power and the more you know, the further you will go.

Create a daily routine for yourself that consist of prayer and meditation. Start and end your day with a talk with God and a talk with yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with even a prayer or pep talk at any time of the day. It is important to motivate yourself daily because you must be your biggest supporter. You must believe in yourself first! This daily routine will become a movement that will become embedded in your life and serve as a powerful source for success.

I know there will be a time in your life when you may feel insecure about some things. I have been there before, and I know how you feel. I want you to learn how to nourish your insecurities with positive self-talk and positive actions. Those same insecurities will begin to change will begin to change into positive things. Never let your insecurities stand in the way of your potential greatness. Always know that you can turn a negative into a positive!

There will come a time when you may feel it is necessary to follow the crowd or you feel more comfortable doing what others are doing. And I know you may not always listen, and as a teenager, you may not always agree with me, but I just want to tell you to be original. You were made to be who you are, and you must have the self-confidence to believe that you are one of a kind and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Have the courage to remain faithful to yourself no matter how loud the noise of the world gets and how heavy the peer pressure becomes. Remember that being authentic can create opportunities for you in many aspects of life.

You were created for a purpose. You may not understand what it may be right away, but in time it will come to light, and you will know what you need to do to walk into your purpose. I really need you to understand that not everyone will support you and some people may be jealous of you and your future. There are also some people who are not meant to be by your side during the journey. There comes a time in life when we must distance ourselves from people or even remove them from our lives all together. That process will not be easy, but a good friend once told me, "You must protect your peace." Love yourself more than enough to know when to let go.

You are my beautiful princess, and I love you so much. You wear a crown that represents value, virtue, and royalty. You have been created and raised by a generation of kings and queens who came before us. May you never remove your crown until it's time for an upgrade and that will be the day you transition into a queen! Dear Daughter,
I want you to understand that there are different types of relationships. I pray that you experience at least one friendship that will last a lifetime. I also pray that your soulmate will find you when the time is right and treats you like the queen that you are becoming. Respect all relationships that are created but learn the difference between a good relationship and a bad one. Learn when to fight for it, when to let go and that it will always be okay in the end. Remind yourself that you were special before this and you will be special after this. Trust me when I say that the rest will fall into place.

I'm here to tell you that sometimes you just have to X some things out of your life. Whether it's people, places or things. You will have to learn how to adjust, think and move differently. If you want different results, you must take a new approach.
