About the Author

Ngozi Osuagwu, M.D., FACOG attended The John Hopkins University and State University of New York at Buffalo where she received Doctor of Medicine degree in 1990. A board certified obstetrician and gynaecologist, she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and combines clinical medicine with research and teaching. She is a partner in a private practice in Columbus, Ohio, Principal Investigator of a major research study and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She resides in Central Ohio with her husband and three children.

Nathan G. Thagana, MBChB, MMed graduated from University of Nairobi in 1980 with an MBchB degree and recieved MMed degree in 1986 after completing his specialization training in obstetrics and gynaecology. He has also received additional training in UK, France and the US. A much sought after obstetrician/gynaecologist in Kenya, he specializes in reproductive endocrinology and operative laparoscopy and runs a full-time private practice in Nairobi. He also trains laparoscopic skills to other physicians in Surgical Skills Center of University of Nairobi. He resides in Nairobi with his wife Zipporah, a consultant paediatrician and they have three grown children.
