Emily Ellison is the author of three books of fiction (
Alabaster Chambers, First Light, and
The Picture Makers) and the co-editor of an anthology of contemporary American literature (
Our Mutual Room: Modern Literary Portraits of the Opposite Sex). Ms. Ellison is a founder of the Atlanta Girls' School, a nonsectarian, nondiscriminatory, nonprofit college preparatory day school for adolescent girls and young women. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and teen-aged daughter.
George Lindsey, a native of Jasper, Alabama, is a noted stage, screen, nightclub, and television actor. His most famous role was that of Goober on the television classic The Andy Griffith Show and later on Mayberry RFD. He also was a regular on the hit television show HeeHaw. Mr. Lindsey currently performs his comedy standup act all over the United States and is the host of the Emmy Award-winning Liars & Legends for the Turner South cable network.
