Don Pendleton (1927-1995) was creator of the popular The Executioner: Mack Bolan series and is considered the “father of the action/adventure” literary genre. His fiction includes the Joe Copp and Ashton Ford mystery series of six novels each. He collaborated with his wife, Linda Pendleton on the crime novel Roulette, The Search for the Sunrise Killer, and on several nonfiction books including To Dance With Angels and Whispers From the Soul. Don Pendleton published more than one hundred novels, which have sold close to two hundred million copies world-wide in numerous languages. In August of 2014, it was announced that producer, screenwriter, Shane Salerno, had taken on the Mack Bolan books for a Film Franchise. Days later it was announced that Bradley Cooper was set to take on the role of Mack Bolan via Warner Bros. Studios.
