Sophie dreams of running an international conglomerate. As the obstacles mount, she keeps her wits and her friends about her while navigating her life's journey.

At 29, Sophie's future is clear, she'll rise through the ranks to take the reins of an international conglomerate determined that neither mortal man nor corporate games can thwart her.

Not, anyway, until an international merger diverts her climb down a cul-de-sac where one hurdle too many provokes her to fight back.

About the Author

Laura Rittenhouse grew up in Seattle and now calls Australia home. Her career in IT gave her the opportunity to live and work in six different countries on five different continents and, while rewarding, just wasn't how she wanted to spend her days. In 2006 she gave up that career to focus on her passion, writing.

Laura's first short story was published in 2008 and her first two novels, "Starting Over" & "Life's Journeys" were published by Wings ePress in 2009 & 2014 respectively. In between writing books she writes short stories in a variety of genres. A handful of these have been published online and in print magazines.
